Today I’m writing to the leaders
I’m writing to those who were born to bring change.
Those who are here to create.
The artists, the healers, the achievers.
Those who look around and see the systems is broken, stuck together with sticky tape whilst deep cracks show up again and again.
I’m writing to those who know they are here to find a new path and to lead the masses to thrive
In other words Darling, I’m writing to you.
Stop thinking that you need an official title to be a leader
You know in your heart of hearts that this is simply not true
You know in your heart of hearts that true leadership doesn’t require a corner office
What it requires is passion
It requires an unequivocal belief that shit needs to change to bring back humanity
It requires grit
It requires shit tons of courage to speak your truth in a way that will have your people sit up and take notice
It requires you to stop fitting in and speaking in a tone that has everyone smiling and nodding their heads in unison.
Which is what they will ask of you.
They will ask you not to curse so much.
They will ask you not to speak about your personal beliefs because, you know, it upsets people and you are being insensitive if you don’t back down when eyebrows get raised because all you care about is that there’s a small chance that someone wakes the fuck up to what’s really going on around them.
I’m always amazed that people actually ask us to do our passion work, as long as it is done within the confinements of their dumb-ass rules.
Fuck the rules.
Break the bastards all the time.
The rules are keeping people stuck in the illusion that they are nothing more than puppets on the strings of the ‘leaders’ of society.
The rules are keeping people mute from crying out in pain.
The rules are keeping people huddled in shame for the burning desire to rise up because that would have them labeled as rebels.
So instead they keep quiet.
They speak in pleasant tones.
They say the right things at the right time, sounding more like an edited recording than a passion filled beast!
It’s time to Unleash the BEAST!
It sounds so easy doesn’t it?
Just speak your truth.
Just be yourself.
Just rise up.
Except it’s not.
It’s hard because you get criticised all the time. People hate on you all the time. People who want to stay in the slumber. People who prefer feeding their addictions rather than cleaning up and giving themselves the opportunity to thrive.
I keep going back to Keanu Reaves given the option to choose – red or blue.
I’ve always wondered why he’s a choice?
Now I realise because in fact that is exactly what we’re all given by the Universe – personal choice.
We’re all presented with opportunities of taking the red or the blue pill.
A loved one gets shot for a cell phone. Red or blue?
A school friend dies from a heart attack at age 45. Red or blue?
A neighbour gets drunk every night and beats the shit out of his kids. Red or blue?
And it breaks my heart to see the masses choosing to stay in the illusion.
Where it’s ‘easier’.
Few are brave enough, strong enough, to wake the fuck up at this time.
Have you chosen to wake up Darling?
Have you chosen to fight the fight?
Have you chosen to feel the pain so that you can feel the joy?
Because if you have you know that it’s a daily fight which needs to be recommitted to every time they ask you to be a little nicer.
You don’t have to be nice to be a powerful leader!
They don’t have to like you to follow you.
They have to admire you!
They have to respect you!
They have to feel inspired by you!
But they don’t have to like you.
Even after months of working with me most of my clients don’t ‘like’ me.
They call me a ruthless bitch.
They flip me the bird.
But they show the fuck up.
For their life purpose.
For their people.
Because I don’t give a shit to be politically correct in what I say.
I care about being honest.
I care about saying it the way I see it so that they have the opportunity to get a different perspective.
And yes, those clients who TTFU and push through eventually love me, which quite frankly is way more powerful than having them like me. These are the ones who become friends for life. My people. The leaders. The change bringers. The healers. The creatives. The artists. The epic achievers.
It doesn’t mean it doesn’t sting when I get the hate mail. It doesn’t mean that I don’t get upset when some faceless coward thrashes me on my Facebook post. It doesn’t mean that I don’t cry.
Of course I cry.
Of course I hurt.
Like a motherfucker.
It was my choice to wake up and to feel deeply and I will continue to choose to feel it all – the pain, the love, the hurt, the disappointment, the exhilaration, all of it.
I choose to feel and I choose to use this to fuel my passion to wake up more and more!
To bash loudly through the bushes in a very unladylike fashion because if I can inspire ONE person to choose the red pill, why on earth would I tippy toe around?
I don’t care if they like me.
All I care about is that they trust me enough to follow.
To reconnect to their truth, their passion, their purpose.
So they in turn will inspire others to wake up.
That’s your purpose!
That’s your job!
Your purpose is not to be liked.
Your purpose is to lead in whatever way will have the greatest impact!
Stop pussy-footing around.
Start getting mad – at how broken the system is, at how much people are hurting, at how many people are dying, at how thick the mists of illusion has become from all the smog.
Get the fuck up
For death is inevitable.
Thriving is a choice that few will ever make.
“After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill—the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill—you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”
With love eternal,
PS: Are you ready to take the red pill? Are you ready to step into your rightful place as leader? Are you ready to create – change, art, life? If it’s a hell yes then let’s connect. If it’s a maybe, it’s a hell no.
